Kate Palmquist is a Principal on Special Assignment for Elementary Curriculum and Instruction. She has worked for Rochester Public Schools for four years, first as an Assistant Principal on Special Assignment for Elementary and Secondary Education and then as the principal of Harriet Bishop Elementary for three years. Before joining Rochester Public Schools, Kate was an elementary school teacher in 4th and 5th grade and a middle school assistant principal in Texas.
Kate enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. She also enjoys being active and spending time outdoors.

Rebecca Mecikalski is an Elementary Implementation Associate with a focus on Language Arts and Social Studies. She has worked with the Rochester Public Schools for thirteen years, first as a GIP resident, then Special Education, next as a reading teacher, and then a classroom teacher of grades 4 & 5.
Rebecca really enjoys traveling, reading mystery novels, baking, spending time with family and friends and is a lover of music. She is a co-director of a women's singing group and plays hand bells for her church. Rebecca is also a member of Alpha Delta Kappa, an honorary women educators sorority. Her husband, Paul, is a corporate accountant for Rochester Tile Superstore . They have a daughter in Kindergarten and two dogs to keep them busy.

Ann Miller is the K-8 District Math Specialist. She has been working in the Rochester Public Schools since the spring of 1991. In her years at RPS, Ann has taught fifth and sixth grade, been an Implementation Associate, and an Instructional Coach. She also teaches at Augsburg University.
Ann enjoys reading, being outdoors, baseball, and spending time with her husband Dwight and their two grown children.
Julie Ace is an Elementary Implementation Associate with a focus on Math and Science. She has worked with the Rochester Public Schools for 23 years, beginning in Developmental First and then moving into a classroom teacher of grades 1 & 2.
Julie enjoys horseback riding, reading and travel. She is a board member and group facilitator for the advocacy and mentoring of middle and high school girls in the group Justice & Opportunities for Youth (JOY). Julie is also a member of Alpha Delta Kappa, an honorary women educators sorority. Her husband, Kevin, works for the Mayo Clinic as a Data Architect. Julie has three sons who are currently attending or are former graduates of Century High School.

Katie Miller is an Implementation Associate (K-12) who focuses on the instruction of English Learners. She has worked in the field of education for 15 years, 11 of those years with the Rochester Public Schools. For 9 years she worked as an EL teacher at Pinewood Elementary, but throughout her career has worked with EL students of various ages--from kindergartners to seniors in high school.
In her free time, Katie enjoys reading on her deck, fishing in the many Northern Minnesota lakes, and going to the YMCA for a great workout.
